Frontier Issue Starter Kit

The Frontier Issue Starter Kit is a first field kit for someone learning to carry more than a phone. Knife, fire steel, light, compass, whistle, wire saw, emergency blanket, and a small waterproof box — enough to cut, spark, see, signal, and hold heat, not a substitute for Frontier Aid or a night-out bivy. Sized for a pack pocket or glove box. Built for a teen starting to take their own kit seriously, and small enough that an adult will actually keep it in the truck. Being prepared is the point: you learn the tools on short trips, before you need a bigger kit on a longer one.
