Our Story

Venture Carry founder Mike spent more than 15 years in law enforcement and public service. That work taught a simple rule: gear only matters if it is on you and you can get to it. Off duty in the mountains of Colorado, that rule was just as hard to keep. On longer days outside, a waistband holster shifted, dug in, and fought the movement the terrain required. The handgun ended up in the backpack—secure, but no longer useful. Basic survival and preparedness items followed the same path. They were left at home, or packed so deep they might as well have been. Venture Carry was built to put both sides of that experience to work: years of carrying equipment on the job, and years of moving through the outdoors. That mix shapes the products we design and the gear we choose to offer. The Frontier Chest Pack is our inaugural product—a way to keep a concealed firearm and essential tools on the body, stable, and within reach. The same standard applies beyond the pack: other carry options, accessories, and equipment for people who want to be prepared, whether they use our chest pack or not.

Venture Carry exists for people who want to be outdoors and refuse to be unprepared. Our primary focus is outdoor concealed carry. We design our own solutions, beginning with the Frontier Chest Pack, and we also source and outfit accessories, tools, and other carry options for customers whose setup looks different. Law enforcement experience and time outdoors both inform that work—what to design, what to carry, and what actually belongs in a kit when something goes wrong. Some customers will want the pack. Others will want a different carry method, a non-carry bag, or simply the right equipment for the day. That work is not limited to one kind of outing. Our motto is Prepare for any Frontier—and your frontier may be a neighborhood walk with the dog, an afternoon at the park, a fishing trip, a hunt, or miles into the backcountry. Everyday carry is part of the same idea: the right tools, carried in a way that makes sense, for whatever the day requires.

Venture Carry and its founder are grounded in the Christian faith, the duty to give, and are dedicated to our men and women in law enforcement and the Armed Forces.
